Our laboratory is located in the Mechanical Engineering department at the Polytechnic School at Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná (PUCPR), a private not-for-profit university in Curitiba, Parana state, south of Brazil. LaBES is part of the large and collaborative group of reserach in Manufacturing and Materials area, composed by the Laboratory of Conventional and Non-conventional Machining (LAUS, coordinated by prof. Fred Amorim), and the Laboratory of Characterization and Materials Tests (LaCEM, coordinated by prof. Ricardo Torres).
